An interesting event on Organizational Topologies and how to apply them in our organizations given by Raul Herranz. The five steps:

  1. Vision
  2. Current mapping (as is)
  3. Identify gaps
  4. Ideal Mapping
  5. Elevate

He showed us a matrix to map organizations according to two factors:

– The scope of the skills, related to the Flow Efficiency.
– The scope of work, related to results-orientation.

From there, interesting reflections arose on how to achieve cross-functional and self-managed teams capable of making business decisions and understanding the impact of their work on the whole, always keeping the vision clear.
